Re: Clue Idea: Tower of Terror (Tokyo DisneySea)

Wow! I've never seen that hotel before!! It's really an amazing looking structure. It just looks like something foreboding out of the Clue-verse. Forget the hotel, I'd like to see this design applied to a mansion ... maybe something built on a mountaintop that hangs over the edges. The Grand Budapes...

Re: Geoffrey Parker/Dunhill Cluedo Game

If they do still sell them individually, they pair perfectly with the 1949 Tin Edition. Do you mean the wooden Nostalgia Edition? I’m not aware of a tin edition of the 1949 Cluedo edition. Although a black tin box 1949 edition would be an amazing addition to my collection! Here's quick down and dir...

New Cluedo Chocolate Tin

This came up before, but I can’t find the thread. But here’s a new update — there is an EU and US version of the tin available, and the company now sells tins online. Sadly only Scrabble and Monopoly. Please let’s everyone write this company and ask them to make Cluedo and/or Clue available online, ...

Another homemade Game. https://www.etsy.com/listing/745897357/custom-built-cluedo-game A general note to all of us here — the concept of a Murder game based on the original a Cluedo patent is in the public domain. However, this Etsy version violates a couple of copyrights — the game board design: th...

Re: Geoffrey Parker/Dunhill Cluedo Game

Here’s a few other threads to explore related to the 1972 edition: I really love what Poirotfrmda818 did with the minimalist design and the Super Sleuth concept. http://www.theartofmurder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3258 This French edition is fascinating as it uses the 1972 artwork, except for the b...

Helipad. Could either be top of house, or on the grounds.

And have we mentioned a gondola lift, or funicular?

Re: Geoffrey Parker/Dunhill Cluedo Game

An aspect of the Clue/Cluedo board that I really enjoy is the sense of moving around a physical space on the board, which is why I generally lean more towards boards that have that cutaway/dollhouse effect with the rooms, like you've lifted the roof off the house and are looking down into the rooms...

Re: 1970s Clue with alternate character names

It could be any number of international editions. Parker was actively competing with Waddingtons in their own territories. They couldn’t license Clue, but they could license their game designs to be used with Cluedo, so Parker made money too on every Cluedo license Waddingtons sold. As a result ther...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

I didn’t know the steam/switch Version had more detailed and immersive environments, I might have to check that out (I just put a lot of gift card money on my switch account) To be clear, it’s not more immersive in any major way, just a landscape orientation with more artwork. The big draw with the...

If they do still sell them individually, they pair perfectly with the 1949 Tin Edition. Yeah, something like these but made for more of a mass-market collectable edition such as that would be great. I find the Geoffrey Parker board itself to be rather 'blah' looking for such an expensive piece. Per...

Re: Geoffrey Parker/Dunhill Cluedo Game

I’ve always been a fan of the heads on playing pieces designs, and would love if they were incorporated as the design of the actual playing pieces. They were actually created for the ultra luxury Geoffrey Parker édition, in sterling silver, or pewter (the pewter of which I purchased separately). ht...

https://acluesaga.weebly.com/uploads/8/1/9/4/819446/pawnscene_orig.png Heads piked on playing pieces! I know some don’t care for this, but to me it’s the single most ingenious aspect of Cluedo, followed by the naming conventions. When I discovered Cluedo existed, this aspect alone blew my mind! Tha...

Re: Scooby-Doo! #118 (2007) “Whodunit”

Mrs. Pavo is a great name. Literally Peacock without saying it. Had someone used that name on this forum before? I think it may be used in a foreign edition. My favorite names are the ones that seem like legit names, with a meaning that evokes colors, or purpose and function. The brilliance of the o...

Great opportunity. I hope circumstances allow you to present it on that timeline. One thought I had, I’d love to see the Green character be a religious enthusiast sometime. It occurs the many opportunities to blend the two characters into one never seem to work out well, or inevitably turn green int...

Re: Master Room Repository

Love the idea of a lighthouse. That also makes me think of the outdoor structures I saw in Greece — family chapels. It’s already an indoor location, but I like the idea of a stand alone meditation/ceremonial/religious structure. The family burial plot can be located there as well.

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

The theme that are free are for a limited time only. The best version of the game would be the Steam/Switch port. The phone/table are the same. Thank you! Is there a reason why the Steam version is $8 more expensive? Are there new features or is it just because it's on a different platform? Thanks ...
