Excuse me, but what exactly is the point of this post? I'm not sure what good it does to create a post that basically is just you patting yourself on the back saying "Look at me, I post alot." and singling out members who don't. You ask why some members register and then either never post, or post i...

The first one didn't just do moderately well. As I understand it, at one time the first VCR game was the best selling video in the entire country.

Mike, I quite disagree with your statement "The axe would have been a nice addition too, but it's not quite something you would keep around the house." A large country manor in the time the game was created would most certainly have an axe handy. It's a very useful tool, especially for chopping fire...

As far as I know, Madeline Kahn WAS a blonde and it was rarer to see her with dark hair. At any rate, if she wasn't a REAL blonde, I've seen her with blonde hair more often than not.

Hmmm... I'm afraid not, Paul. I did a Google Image Search for "kimono" and came up with a multitude of results that looked nothing like what 1972 Scarlet wears. An actual Kimono is a Japanese robe that's far more ornate. I did some digging around and what Scarlet is wearing is a traditional Chinese ...

Here is a brand new scan of the Scarlet card in question. I know it's large, but I figured larger would be better for thorough exanimation. http://www.geocities.com/dbofs/72Scarlet.jpg She definitely looks Asian to me. As GeeBee rightfully pointed out, there is no one look that defines one as "Asian...

A dark tone if you will, but definitely not void of humor or an ability to laugh at itself. I don't feel that it's void of humor, but I would still call it a very dark, and morbid sense of humor. Nowhere near the wackiness of some of the adaptations. You've also cited the colorful names as being wa...

I completely disagree, GeeBee. I truly think the game was not meant to be comedic. I think you're forgetting that Clue is not an American game. The original British version definitely has a dark tone to it.

I agree, GeeBee. The Clue you grew up with heavily influences your overall view of what the game should look like. For me, the first Clue owned in my home was the 1986 version. Although my aunt had the '72, and my school the '63, the '86 still remains my vision of what the characters should look lik...

Hello, I'm the site owner for The World of Clue. I do apologize that you never got a response to your email. The reason for that is that since I long ago stopped updating the site, I also stopped checking the email account associated with it. I also believe I took down any links to an email address ...

I have a big plan for my site, but I certainly can't say when it will happen. I'm pretty busy right now, and will be busy for the next few months.

There are always tons of things I'd love to do with my site, but I just don't have the time anymore.

Yeah, I sure hope it wasn't down too long. I just need to get it well away from Geocities.

Thanks for the kind comments. It really does touch me to know that people think highly of my work.

I can't promise anything because the reason my site fell to disrepair in the first place was me being busy in my non-Clue life, but I actually HOPE to make some major updates to it.

Goodness!!! I hadn't even REALIZED they had "deactived" it! I feel terrible now, like a really negligent parent!

Well, I've just RE-activated it so it should be there now. I think I shall up the effort to get it off Geocities and updated SOON now.

Thanks for alerting me to that.

Well, thank you very much for that lovely compliment to my site, Colonel. Technically, it was never "down" just hasn't been updated. I do know, however, that many people get error messages when trying to visit it because of the stupid "File transfer allocation" Geocities instilled a while back. Anyw...

Saying Hello

Hello Everyone, Just taking some time to say "hello." My name is Jaime, and Mike just "begged" me to join. Ok, so maybe he didn't BEG, but he asked enthusiastically. ;o) Brief background on me, I'm 23 and have been collecting the game for 16 years now, and have been pretty active in the Cluedo colle...
