Nah. I love my mother- she's like a mother to me. She works hard every day of the year and deserves an overcommercialized day just for her.

Nah, he'd be a tough gumshoe from the New York slums, smoking cheap cigars and roughing up uncooperative suspects. I can already see him at work:

I have some good news and some bad news for Christie fans. The good news: Julian Fellowes is writing the script for a film based on Crooked House ! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-news/8392831/Downton-Abbey-creator-Julian-Fellowes-to-make-Agatha-Christie-fashionable-again.html The bad n...

Stephen Harper's re-election campaign? Go up to Canadians and shout " BOO!!! " How pathetic can you get? If I were forced to describe myself, I'd call myself more of a Conservative than anything else, but I don't think I support any Canadian party anymore. (Maybe I'm more of a Conservative Liberal.....

After positive reception on stuff I wrote in the blogs section of That Guy With the Glasses, I created a blog yesterday to share my thoughts on my great passion: mysteries, particularly those of the Golden Age. I ended up calling it At the Scene of the Crime . Thus far, I included my video, panning ...

I've now finished reading Ngaio Marsh's Off With His Head . My feelings are mixed. The solution had elements of the ingenious about it, but it wasn't entirely ingenious. Some of the clues were laughably obvious, others were expertly hidden. The set-up is highly creative, the solution is not nearly a...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoWO27RlNVY Of all the Jaws knockoffs, Grizzly is one of the most unintentionally funniest. I love how it inspired Jaws 2 though- in this movie, a grizzly takes down a helicopter. I find it a bit more than a coincidence that the shark in Jaws 2 also attacks a helicopte...

It's so cheap. http://i647.photobucket.com/albums/uu200/ohl_patr/scan0010.jpg Nine Times Nine involves a man in a yellow robe who curses Wolfe Harrigan with an ancient curse calle...
