Re: Clue Current Thoughts

Glass Clue game? Am I the only one who thinks this would make for a great Clue edition? Kind of like a deluxe 3D glass-covered edition, but a little more affordable? https://www.wsgamecompany.com/shop/collections/glass-games/monopoly-glass-edition-game.html https://www.wsgamecompany.com/media/catalo...

Yes. It came from here: https://mobile.twitter.com/IRboards https://m.facebook.com/InternationalRidicule/ https://www.internationalridicule.co.uk They appear to do bespoke games for individuals, skirting copyright laws by simply doing the work on behalf of someone, who can’t do it for themselves, bu...

Re: Clue Rustic “Farmhouse” Edition — Yee haw

You could, but take this advice from a buyer: Don't automatically assume you'll sell something if you buy it. Ha. Good advice. I remember when the Orchid game came out, and I picked up a few copies of the Cluedo version when I was in OZ to sell back home, and it took me a long time to sell them, ev...

CLUE Movie Monopoly Game

I’m conflicted ...

But this might be the first Monopoly game Michael might actually like!

Re: Clue Rustic “Farmhouse” Edition — Yee haw

Buy 2 get a third free offer at Target.

So theoretically, I could buy two, get mine for free, and sell the other two on eBay for $5 less than I paid for them, and basically only pay $10 for my otherwise free copy?

This deal seems too good to be true ...

Favorite Themed Edition

With so many themed editions now, this could be a bit challenging. But here’s my list in order of preference: The Simpsons edition is still the unequivocal classic for me. In particular the 2nd Museum Edition. Next I’d have to say it’s Scooby Doo. The Haunted Mansion would have to be next for me. No...

Re: Clue's 70th anniversary

I agree that Clue is probably on the 25 year cycle for anniversary editions. If the How To Train Your Dragon series can get Drew Struzan out of retirement from posters, I wonder if Hasbro still has the cultural pull (or would be willing to put up the money) to entice him back. I would be interested...

Re: Clue's 70th anniversary

The 70th Anniversary is upon us, and nothing was announced at ToyFair. It seems some of the new unannounced editions come out around September/October, so I guess we have a bit of a wait to see if Hasbro does anything special. Otherwise, the 75th won't be until 2024. With the current editions lastin...

Re: Scooby doo clue USAopoly version

Available via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/CLUE-Scooby-Doo-Merchandise-Featuring-Characters/dp/B07M5BMVS3 The “Rumor” cards appear to be the evidence cards consisting of suspects, rooms and items. The “?” Are what interests me. But can’t really justify this price to find out. That said, now that I...

Re: VCR Clue On DVD?

Start an online petition for Hasbro? If not shot on Video, it was probably edited on video, so the quality will always be pretty low compared to a modern HD project. As a result the cost to remaster it and reissue the game might not be worth it for those who would buy it. It's unclear if the actors ...

Re: Scooby doo clue USAopoly version

I already have the older edition with the pewter pieces, so I most likely won't be purchasing another copy of it. One thing that's always bothered me about this themed version is that every character has a Scooby Doo counterpart except for Mrs White. They really couldn't have come up with a charact...

Re: Scooby doo clue USAopoly version

It looks like there are some other notable changes: I'm not sure it's for the better. In the original, Scooby was dressed as Colonel Mustard. Here, he's mostly generic art, having little to do with Col. Mustard. Actually from what I can see. Fred's Mr. Green card is the same as his token and box ar...

Re: Scooby doo clue USAopoly version

So TheBestThings on Youtube mentioned something about a re release of Scooby Doo Clue. Everything looks the same except the board has Question marks all over it, Rumor cards are a thing, and the figures are replaced with USAopoly's plastic pieces. Also the box looks smaller and slighty different wi...

This promised much more potential than it delivered. Still an interesting concept. I’d like to see it tailored as less learning-based than fun ... maybe Clue movie trivia, or a drinking game... https://teepeecreations.co.uk/2017/01/28/board-game-analysis-and-re-design-cluedo/ https://tonipillingprod...

I'm currently working on a fan fiction using the 10 suspects from Clue Master Detective to recreate the plot of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, changing the original title from Ten Little Indians to Ten Little Suspects.
That's NOT the original title ... different times ...
