Re: Tank museum Cluedo

Maybe David Black was run over by a tank? I once saw an episode of Midsomer Murders where that happened. It makes more sense that not hearing a tank fire. That’s really my point. Have you ever heard a tank in operation? Just starting the engine would wake the dead, much less driving around with the...

Searching The Forum

The forum search feature is somewhat limited, and does not pull up many threads for a given search, particularly older threads. The way around it is to perform a "site" search. I've posted this solution in a number of threads, but decided to make a dedicated thread so everyone can easily find it. Un...

Re: Cluedo Yakari

I see. I assume the colors chosen for the characters align with the story?

Odd they don’t go with Cluedo colors — no green, purple, white, or even pink — and instead have two shades of gray!?

Cluedo Yakari

I don’t know this franchise. Is it exclusive to Germany? Looks like a cool game though with great figurines. https://winningmoves.de/cluedo/365/cluedo-junior-yakari https://winningmoves.de/media/image/70/45/e7/CluedoJR_Yakari_Packshot_Master_600x600@2x.jpg https://winningmoves.de/media/image/a3/44/c...

Re: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Cluedo Coming Soon?

Fascinating. I can't quite make the characters out. I wonder what the premise is. I can't really figure that out from the "weapons" tokens either ...

If based on the book, then this 50th anniversary 5 years late I guess ...

Re: Custom Clue Game Ideas

I've been playing with Tabletop Simulator and I made a variant Clue version that takes the layout of Master Detective (with some alterations), uses the art style of the 1972 Clue and adds Motives to the deductions. I searched the web for a clean version of the Master Detective board and I think I a...

Re: Cluedo Dracula Edition

Yes, I'm fairly certain these are officially licensed copies, especially if they are turning up in legitimate retail sites. And yes they do use USAopoly in the US, and Winning Moves outside the US. Both companies have custom games divisions and will produce a Clue/do game for anyone willing to pay u...

Re: Cluedo Dracula Edition

Interesting idea. Judging by the info. This seams like it was based on a Dracula inspired show or they are doing their own thing. If it's their own thing. I don't get how Dracula being reborn as a suspect would be any better then finding out which character from the novel kills Dracula. I’m startin...

Re: Cluedo Dracula Edition

If she's got a scar in her neck it would be a find-the-vampire rather than who-killed-the-vampire... Except that doesn’t necessarily mean anything in Clue. Remember, the goal is to figure out how Mr. Boddy was killed — bludgeoned, stabbed, shot, or strangled. You’d think a brief examination of the ...

Re: CLUEDO play by Robert Duncan: script here

Well, it looks like at long last Duncan re-wrote the play to avoid any Hasbro copyrights and trademarks, and it is now being presented as “Cut!”.

http://www.thame.net/archives/53371

It would be fun to stage the play and put everyone in the Classic Clue colors, and wink about their names ...
