Re: Some Clue Fan-Art

Just a quick fun rough schematic for a possible Titanic Clue version. https://i.postimg.cc/bvvc0WHV/20200119-092115.jpg Save Dr Lucky basically takes place on the titanic while it’s sinking. Kill Dr Lucky plays like committing the murder of Mr Boddy, while Save Dr Lucky takes place before that with...

Re: Clue w/ bathroom

I’ve had a bathroom with more than one door. One into the hallway and one into the utility room with the washer and dryer. The side entrance of the house lead into the utility room, so if you fell into a giant mud puddle, you could come home through the side door and only track mud through two rooms...

Re: Which man is perfect for Mr. Boddy?

That’s true; I think Clue Mysteries is one of the few times Mr Boddy is depicted and featured in a game (still alive)

Thank you. I’d like to be a writer but I just can’t seem to commit to it on a regular basis.

Re: Clue w/ bathroom

This is the same gimmick as changing the Monopoly playing pieces by having people vote for a new one. Replacing White with Orchid could arguably also be seen this way, and in some ways it is, but I felt there was more justification behind (allegedly). I’d prefer to have White and Orchid in the game....

Re: Which woman is perfect for Miss Scarlett

I like to think that Mrs White and Mrs Peacock used to be lovers (sometimes, not always). Like they were secretly girlfriends, but had to get married to men because of the era they lived in (notice neither of them have a husband lurking around anymore). I imagine they were still secretly together af...

Re: Which man is perfect for Mr. Boddy?

I like that female professor Plum, reminds me of professor Rubio from the older Spanish edition of Cluedo, where the yellow character is a woman (and repurposes the US 1972 artwork) Also off topic, I would love a Cluedo prequel scenario that uses Mr White, the late husband of Mrs White (not gender ...

Re: Television Cliches That Drive You Nuts

Cliff hangers before the commercial break, that doesn’t turn out to be anything! I watch a lot of shows about ghost hunting, monster hunting, aliens, all the crap. It’s mostly all fake I’m sure, but I love it. And they always make it seem like something crazy is going to happen when the show gets ba...

Re: Movie Scenes That Traumatized You *May Contain Spoilers*

Omg, the girl getting stabbed in the ankle with a pencil in The Evil Dead. Demonic possession is like the scariest thing to me, so watching that in like middle school was traumatizing. I ran from room after the one possessed girl was locked in the basement but could taunt them from the trap door in ...

Re: How old are you?

I’m an old man

I’m 34

My parents had two kids before they were 30; meanwhile I feel like a kid pretending to be an adult. Although I am less immature than a lot of my friends, most of whom are in their 20’s. But I do have a couple friends who are around my parents age.

My great grandfather was in the San Jose mafia back when Sarah Winchester was alive building the Winchester Mystery House. He also did masonry, like brick laying. We think he was hired to help repair the damage done to the Winchester Mystery House after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, and possibl...

Re: How come a famous author's last name gets censored by the forum?

I thought that was a spam post for a second, CluedoKid! :lol Wait, les bian is a banned word? I can understand the others, but that isn't a swear word or derogatory. There’s a slur for lesbians, it’s D Y K E Well, that other word seems not to be a problem here since **** Van Dyke only gets his firs...

Re: Which man is perfect for Mr. Boddy?

There are women in the military and women pastors. Colonel Mustard and Reverend Green could certainly be women. Miss Scarlet could instead be a renowned male makeup artist or fashion designer who simply goes by ‘Scarlet’ for his signature lipstick or clothing line with red incorporated into every p...

Re: Which man is perfect for Mr. Boddy?

I was watching ‘the Roman Holidays’ - a retread of the Flintstones/Jetsons concept except set in Ancient Rome, and in one of the episodes the families pet lion was trying to woo a female lion at the zoo... except the female lion had a mane, a defining feature of a male lion. The swapping of male/fe...

Re: Which man is perfect for Mr. Boddy?

I was torn between Green and Plum! I suppose it could also depend on what iteration of the character you're thinking of. On this topic, Boddy being gay could totally work as a plot point. Think about it - rich gay bachelor who is friends with a broadway/Hollywood star (Scarlet), a busybody (Peacock...

Re: Discover the *real* secrets

This totally reminds me of a guy I went out with years ago, I’m talking maybe like 10 years ago. He was an okay, but after we realized that we both loved Clue, he either tried to incorporate it into innuendos or is just into some really hardcore stuff that I didn’t want to be anywhere near. He kept ...
