I personally, see Peacock as more of the busybody than the widow-socialite. I guess I have the movie version/Clue children's book version ingrained in my head:)
I like the VCR Mrs. Peacock - she seems to reconcile both the busybody and the widow/socialite aspects.

Re: My Clue and Cluedo collection

Something else I've noticed too.. Doesn't it seem there is very little promo material of Martin Mull? Was he simply not available for extra shoots? On the DVD cover, he is the only one who is clearly a photoshopped image of him in the study with a wrench not identical to the movie's. This is surpris...

Re: My Clue and Cluedo collection

Those large disks are records of the soundtrack. They released a collective set with seven colour choices of the record based on the suspect colours. However, I can see their set is incomplete; they are missing the white one!

Re: Clue Current Thoughts

That's a detail I do like. It's a shame so much of the rest of the board is bland.

Re: New Clue app for iOS

One thing I like - Scarlett isn't a blonde like the rest (Though technically Lady Scarlett had grey hair, she could have been blonde in youth)

If they sell enough of these, the Clue brand will lose it’s appeal. Who needs Miss Scarlett when a whole generation of kids has grown up with Madame Rubie? In that respect, who needs Mrs. White when the next generation only knows Dr. Orchid? When classic characters can be booted so easily, clearl...

This is probably one of the best Clue spin-offs I've seen in a long time. Judging by the cover, of course.

The pieces look somewhat ho-hum. I wonder if the weapons will be pewter, or cardboard busts too. Though the illustrations imply they will, I will await to see.

Mr. Pine looks like a manservant of sorts. Perhaps he is the new "White"?

The Games Room is preposterous. Good luck getting a good angle at the pool table, in such a cramped space.

{If I may make my own quick denouement, all I have to state is that Earl Gules and Mr. Raven made a swift, wordless split from one another, bitter over the confusing matter of accusing an innocent. Gules fled back to his family estate, forgetting the whole affair entirely, and Raven retreated to alc...

Fun story :D , I was going through an antique fair (looking for weapons :P ) and there was this lady selling candlesticks. So I went over and saw that she had the Diamond Princess. She came over and immediately lowered the price and told the history of the candlesticks set. It was nice, but the Dia...

My vote is a no, for now. With just a list of characters we've seen a million times, what makes this game stand apart that I should be inclined to like it?

One thing I pointed out ways back is the Franklin Mint illustrations are in fact direct copies of pre-existing photographs and illustrations from the period, with a bit of colour correction. I imagine it would be of fair use to copy from those?

"Perhaps" Suggests Mr. Raven, with a hint of annoyance and impatience, "Mr. Mossman ought to be minding this mystery more than exhausting himself with nightly romps. I'd offer to help this along myself, but this fussy lieutenant has deemed me unfit for insight, no thanks to a certain Gules fellow."
