I think parents/law makers would be much more likely to target video games and TV shows than board games because, in their mindset, that's what children and teens are more likely to be influenced by. They would probably view board games as traditional "family fun" fare. But supposing Clue did get dr...

Not to mention it's a violation of the first amendment--ya know, a little thing called "the right to freedom of religion". And for EXTRA hypocrisy points...this is the same state that proposed the bill that would give employers the right to fire female employees who were on the pill to prevent contr...

Mrs. Doubtfire is on TV right now and there's something I've been wandering about for a while: If a film student were to take the movie and edit certain parts of it so that the dad being the nanny was a plot twist, what would the result be? At least, there'd be a LOT of splicing done.

Now, now, we should be nice and feel sorry for those poor 65,000 Americans. It's probably hard to function without a brian inside your skull. I swear, if politicians told them "ice is fire", they'd believe it without a second thought. That reminds me, hasn't the US always been at war with Eurasia? I...

I just heard about the Newtown shootings. That's just horrible. :( Must be awful for the parents whose children died, and the survivors who witnessed it.

@ WarnerPlum But then who would we have to point and laugh at for being so ignorant? In complete seriousness, though, part of me is tempted to send her a scolding PM, but judging by her profile, I doubt she would have the maturity to realize why what she said was wrong. And that's what scares ...

It'll depend on how I'm feeling. I still have a bit of a cold. If I'm feeling up to it, I would love to take my nephews trick-or-treating. Otherwise, I might stay in and hand out candy, then watch a movie.

Clue referenced in Higurashi!

So I finally got around to buying and then playing/reading through the Visual Novel "Higurashi When They Cry". At the part I'm reading right now, the main characters (who are part of a games club) have just pulled out a game that sounds exactly like Clue. The game's name is never outright stated (pr...

So I’m watching TV with my dad. We turn on the TV guide channel and I see that “Ten Little Indians” is on the TCM channel. I’m not sure which version it is, but I’m still curious, so we switch over to TCM. The introductory guy comes on, but it is NOT Robert Osborne. So he starts the introduction, tu...
