These are cool! I LOVE Scarlet and Peacock. The only one I don't care for is Plum, and that's because it's inconsistent with the rest of the images - she's so far away!

HBC as Mrs. White is fantastic. I would put Steve Carell as Plum instead of Green though. Leslie David Baker is great for the Cop. Maybe James Franco for Boddy? I think Terri Hatcher would be a great Scarlet.

Mr_Scarlett wrote:"So, everything's explained"

Mrs. Peacock nods.

"Nothing's explained, we still not know who killed him"

Mrs. Peacock shakes head.
One of my favorite moments of the entire movie.

My answer is in white:

Scarlet - Parker, Limo, 35 minutes
Mustard - Bailey, Bicycle, 25 minutes
Green - Cameron, Walking, 20 minutes
Peacock - Reese, Balloon, 30 minutes
Plum - Avery, Bus, 40 minutes

I think the MG TD is Mrs. White's. If you click on the picture and look closer, it's pretty obvious that it's black and white. That would leave Mustard's as the missing car.

This is so fascinating! I've never read the screenplay before. I love how the stage directions include descriptions of the characters and events that later show up in Wadsworth's recap of the evening - for example, Mrs. White is called "pale, tragic" and it specifically mentions that she and Yvette ...

It's the only weapon on the picture.
 Thank you for that.

Also, I don't understand why it has to be Peacock?

I've read somewhere that the initial plan was to have an ending for each suspect. Green, I don't think there's any evidence to support this. If you haven't already, check out the development notes between John Landis and Tom Stoppard in the Script Proposal Correspondence, as well as the summaries o...

I've read somewhere that the initial plan was to have an ending for each suspect. So Mustard would have an ending, Green, Plum, and White. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, how would they have done it? Mustard and White could have been working with Yvette like Scarlet since they knew her prior...

I like the everyone-did-it ending, for reasons already stated. It's the most fun because it involves the flashbacks and incorporates all of the characters, plus it has the "whodunnit, where, and with what" final statement from Green. The only thing stopping it from perfection are Plum's and Peacock'...

1996 was the first Clue game I played and the first one I owned, so I'm sure that has an impact on my opinions. I also loved reading the books with the 1992 characters, but I always thought they were silly and wrong and instead imagine the 1996 characters. :)

Unfortunately, this POLL does not allow the special editions, it is ONLY for the STANDARD editions . So my vote stands with the standard 1972 edition. Hopefully, nobody is voting for the 96/98 edition when they really mean the LGE or 50th Anniversary editions. I still like the 96/98 standard versio...
