Re: Which was the best mansion?

I had to go with Hill House. I adore the feeling of abandonment and isolation. The first floor is a brilliant arrangement of the board. I've always thought the second floor felt like a Scooby-Doo mansion, which gave the 'searching' scenes that classic mystery vibe, especially with those maze-like sp...

Re: Clue Pieces

1. The classic pawns that were used from 1972-1997, were there any other games (doesn't have to be Clue) that had different colors of them, like how Clue Mysteries had an orange one and Clue 2016 had a pink one? Great Museum Caper had a Gray one for the Theif. If only we had a Brown one we'd have t...

Re: Current Thoughts

Wooo. Just gave birth to a lovely kidney stone on this fine November morn. My back and sides are killing me from the pressure, but I feel pretty **** accomplished. Time to quit Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew cold turkey.

Re: Clue Current Thoughts

Just discovered Dr Orchid's Dutch name is Dr. Li-La. Lila is lilac, which is a shade of purple. :? I actually like the surname Lilac... of course now with Plum, Orchid, Lavender, and Ube (if we're agreeing Ube is cannon) we have no need for this shade. Using the Standard, MD, FX, and the Ruby/Ube b...

Re: New Clue app for iOS

I was wondering if we'd be getting some sort of October/November theme. Perhaps they are waiting till winter for a new winter theme.

Re: Finally back to writing!

So sorry! I hit another little hiatus. I'm currently learning an opera and have about 23 lovely italian songs (it's Rigoletto in case you're curious). I will be working on the next Episode tomorrow and throughout the weekend. Hopefully it won't take that long to write, but I did leave the story hang...

Re: Col. Mustard Question

Are you building a costume, or just looking for pictures for drawing/art reasons? If costume: the second one is cheaper and my upbringing has led me to believe you should obviously get that one. Don't forget the monocle! If drawing: the second one looks more Mustard-like and screams "great white hun...

Re: New Clue Dr. Orchid 2nd Edition with Card Revealing Mirror

A lesser-known cacums fact: The back of the box is as important to me as the cover. I really like this one a lot. In fact, I favor the back of the box better than the cover.

Re: New Clue Dr. Orchid 2nd Edition with Card Revealing Mirror

I think with the way that Marmalade has repopularized White might be a nod in the right direction. I'd say we'll come back around to the standard set sooner than later. Much like DTS took away the Mansion, rebranded the archetypes, weapons, and the whole vibe of the game, we had to sit with the unco...

Re: Finally back to writing!

Episode 17 has been done for a little bit. I'm just sitting with it for a minute. I'm going to give it one final read-through/edit this morning before I post it. All I'll say about it... It is always hard to say goodbye to a character that you enjoy writing for. There will be another X on that spoil...

Re: New Clue Themed Novel — Not A Clue

I might give it a read. I've been looking for new material to kill the slow time at work.

Though I will say, by the table of contents given, I'm inclined to think Mr. Green may have committed the murder with the Knife in the Conservatory.

This seems like an unnecessary re-release of the now over-done Orchid edition. Utilize some creative things like this with new artwork, please.

Re: Clue Rustic Edition — Yee haw

Ehh it's okay. Would be nice if they westernized the characters. Like Scarlet being a saloon girl. I don't think it was ever meant to be a "Yee-haw" country/western theme. That was just a misleading comment. The Rustic games just recreate and make wooden, rustic vintage renditions of classic games....

Re: New Clue Parody Game

I saw it today when I went to Target. However, I spend my "treat-yo-self" money on Rustic Clue and Risk. The latter was 30% off and I couldn't say no to the otherwise overly expensive game. I can say that I have taken interest in these new Clue cannon surnames and will definitely have some fun writi...

Re: Clue Rustic Edition — Yee haw

I think the wooden weapons are really cute. The Rope is a little ridiculous but can be easily reworked into a smaller coil. My only real qualms would be that the Candlestick rests flat instead of standing (though I tried to stand it up on the short end) and the fact that the Lead Pipe seems to resem...
