Re: Clue: Murder at Tudor Close - A ongoing project

Wow... I know I'm johnny-come-lately to this thread, but David, these are FANTASTIC! Great work! I love how you've done nearly all characters/locations/weapons in a similar style! Will you be doing updates based on the discovered Clue Style Guide? (Mrs. Meadow-Brook being a Scottish McWhooter before...

Re: Clue: MATC - Boddy v. Black

Well honestly I didn’t see the (Dr Black) under it. I definitely see John Boddy as the same person as are Black, but I really like your illustration for Sir Hugh Black.

Well, I have to admit I’ve picked up several sets over the years. I always buy the DVD and FX games anytime I see them at a thrift store, so I have quite a few extra... 😂

Wine Charms & Coasters

Not really for sale or trade, but I saw this how-to and thought I might give it a try. Anyone done this?

Re: Kill the Butler: Tudor Mansion

Interesting that you are using multiple characters per colour - I like the use of Madame Puce as well, and the bio lines are great! Thanks!!! This is a lot of fun! The two characters per colour is taken directly from Kill Doctor Lucky 19.5 Anniversary Edition. I didn’t create any of the characters ...

New characters (not in the official Style Guide): Madam Carmen Puce: The Italian Head mistress of Madam Puce’s School for girls, she has come to find out why Sir Hugh’s payments to her school (originally made when she agreed to let Josephine Scarlet enrol shortly after she met Sir Hugh) have stopped...

Kill the Butler: Tudor Mansion

Autumn, 1925. John Boddy (Dr. Black) is dead. Inspector Brown is still trying to solve the murder of Mr. Boddy. Nathaniel Seine has stepped forward to work through the probate of the Wills of Boddy and Black. In order to allow for a full investigation by Inspector Brown, Mr. Seine has placed Black's...

I tend to think in those terms too, as in the 2003-2007 games.

Re: Clue(do) Rules: Any "House Rules" or other variations when you play?

Actually, that's one rule I don't feel is necessary. If people are silly enough to ask about something they may already have been told, it shouldn't be another player's responsibility to tell them they already knew it. If a person already knows the player to the left has a certain room card, then t...

Re: Clue(do) Rules: Any "House Rules" or other variations when you play?

Don’t show players the same card over and over again. This more of a "House Rule", so we don't feel cheated out. Actually, that's one rule I don't feel is necessary. If people are silly enough to ask about something they may already have been told, it shouldn't be another player's responsibility to...

Interview with Rob Daviau (ClueDVD)

Rob Daviau was the designer for the ClueDVD game back in 2005. He agreed to answer some questions: 1) In 2003, Hasbro re-launched Clue with a unified story and artwork style across the various media. By 2007, the franchise included 4 games (Clue, ClueFX, Clue DVD, and Clue Mysteries), 2 books, a fas...

Re: The Official Clue Study Guide (2003)

Another continuity error (which has popped up in other Clue media) According to the stats at the top of the entry for Sir Hugh Black, he died on 11 November 1918. However, at the end of his bio, it says he died "at age 50 shortly before the outbreak of World War I." WWI actually lasted from 28 July ...

In general, I hate Dr Orchid as a character, but I like your depiction.
Do tell! Why the Orchid hate? Is she tolerable when included as a seventh suspect, or just overall a bad idea a as a character?

Re: The Official Clue Study Guide (2003)

Really? I feel like there’s reference in Wizard of Oz to “dying eyes to match my gown” but it may not have meant anything. If it bothers you, go for it! 😀 I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EVER DO THIS , but I read somewhere putting iodine into your eyes can lighten the color/break down the melanin. Or you...
