Re: Clue: It Edition

BBP- thanks for all your hard work keeping us going! I wonder if it’s really sustainable though... I can’t see you doing that forever, and the spambots are just computers so they won’t stop... maybe we should begin talking as active members where to go from here?

Solve the Crime

For your enjoyment... I came up with this today on break. :) This is my first time coming up with something like this, so I apologise if I'm missing something obvious! A corpse has been found at Tudor Mansion, and YOU are called to investigate. Identify: ---Where the corpse is ---Who the victim is -...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

I actually always considered Brunette the darker version of Mustard.... I think Brown in classified on the yellow spectrum.

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

True - I've never been a fan of the themed Clue games... It's a silly concept to make a few bucks. There are definitely some that are better than others; ones that put time and effort into creating a plausible story or those that have characters dress up like the Clue characters - but by and large t...

Mrs. Hudson as a murderess is almost as bad as Sherlock or Watson. PLEASE make it untrue. :)

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

I think the weapons teaser poster had a poster for "Scarlett the Sufragette" Ugh. I hate the idea of using Sherlock characters, ESPECIALLY if Sherlock or Watson are included. Sherlock and Watson as SUSPECTS????? No. No. No. A thousand times no. We'll have to wait and see if Green makes an appearance...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Yeah! Thanks for the news! I hope we can see meadowbrook with Rusty !! And Lord Gray and Lady Lavender but I thinks Murder by Death is right (Lord Gray = Insepctor Gray, Lavdy Lavender = Dr Orchid now). In france Lord Gray it's a very different character with a different name... but what I can read...

Re: Marmalade Game Studio's Clue(do)

Which one had Gray in it?

I'm rooting for a Meadow-Brook, Rusty, or Lavender myself... :) Be nice if they didn't ignore those 2000s characters (except for Azure, which of course is not tokenism at ALL...)

Re: Interview with Michelle Duval

Downton Abbey didn't start airing until 2010 and it really wasn't the worldwide hit it became until a few years later. Games are in development well before they are released as well. I wouldn't be surprised to learn the team on DTS was working for up to 2 years prior to its October 2008 launch. The...

Re: Interview with Michelle Duval

I know, right? I have no inside information on how the gaming world works, but I would have thought with the massive success of Downton Abbey starting in 2008 and interest in the Roaring '20s being raised across multiple industries, it would have been a good time to refresh in a different direction ...

Re: Interview with Michelle Duval

Try interviewing Rob Daviau, the developer of Clue DVD Board Game and Clue: Discover The Secrets. Here's his site: http://www.robdaviau.com/ I did try; he said he didn't remember much and referred me to someone else. :) He did say (I think I said it somewhere else) that the two cut cases were cut d...

Interview with Michelle Duval

I recently had the opportunity to ask one of the designers of the Clue games from the early 2000s, Michelle Duval, a few questions. Enjoy! If you have any follow-up questions for her, she’s agreed to try to answer them (within certain bounds). My questions are numbered and her answers are the quotat...

Now it just has a circle with a minus sign. Same thing happened to your room posts from the DVD awhile back.
