Mr. Sands, fed up with the commotion in the golf shop, quietly slips outside. The rain has lightened up, and there are occasional flashes of lightning off in the distance.

He hurries to the back delivery entrance of the hotel as the rain again starts to get heavy. He fumbles through his pockets for the keys to let himself in as the rain drops furiously pelt him. Just as he removes them from his pocket, a gunshot rings out...

Mr. Sands falls dead on the ground...

'Great its her' thinks Mrs White seeing the crazy French woman round the corner toward her, as she walks up the passage. 'Morning Madame Rose' she replies courteously, before making a sharp turn for the Dining Room. 'I don't want to get stuck in a room with her', thinks White.
